It’s been over a month since my last blog post and I feel you all deserve to know why.
Just like anyone else who goes through difficulties with their mental health, I have my ups and downs. Unfortunately for me the last 4 to 5 weeks have been a struggle as my mood dipped for no particular reason. I simply did not have the energy or determination to continue writing blogs during this time and for that I apologise.
Although I could not produce an end product to actually post, I assure you I tried many times to write about something but the minute I would sit down at my computer my mind would wander or simply draw blanks. This is yet another perfect example of how frustrating mental health issues can be. The way they can stop you from doing what you enjoy and prevent you from doing what you want to do can be very cruel indeed.
Thankfully, I now seem to be over my recent struggle and feel as if I am now ready to continue where I left off where the blogs are concerned. I have quite a few new ideas to write about but I also want to keep posting videos and regular updates about my life and what is going on in it. I will also be starting to post more about useful tools that I feel people with mental health conditions could benefit from knowing about as I would really like to help people who have experienced and gone through similar things to myself.
I’m sorry that this particular post is not as long as some of my previous ones or that it is not as insightful or helpful as I would normally try to make them, but I feel an explanation was needed as to why I have been so quiet as of late. I am hopefully now able to get back to some form of normality and will try to post regularly again, although it may not be daily as it was before as I have quite a lot of planning I would like to focus on a bit more than I used to do in order to make my content the best it possibly can be.
On a side note, I would also like to thank everyone for their kind birthday wishes. I deeply appreciate every single one of them and they really made my day.
